A new work that opens the gates wide to allow a look into the deepest abysses past all the shadows. Fragments Of Unbecoming took six years to write and record what will be the next chapter within their career: “Perdition Portal – Chapter VI”. And it once again delivers the band’s “Crimson Melodic Death Metal Art” which is enriched by some new nuances.
The album which was mixed and mastered by Kristian Kohlmannslehner (Aborted, Benighted o.a.) features a monolithic artwork which will attract the listeners attention right away.

Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024

From the very beginning until the very end the record captivates and doesn’t let go. An excellent example of melodic death metal. Sounds like a tribute to the Swedish 90’s scene without being a copycat. It retains a lot of individuality. It sounds like early Night In Gales, and even builds up upon it. The melodies in minor keys and dual guitar harmonies are simply fantastic. Such a play of light and darkness, hope and despair, but also strength, and wisdom. Oh'Zvir Ah'Sver
